1.1 You will be able to access most areas of this Website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this Website are only open to you if you register.

 2. Ordering from us

2.1 You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.

2.2 By placing an order you are warranting that you are legally entitled to purchase the products you have ordered and you agree to indemnify us for any damages, costs or other expenses (of whatever nature) incurred by us as a direct or indirect breach of this term by you.

2.3 Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. We will send you a despatch confirmation by email. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

2.4 We may refuse to accept an order:

    (a) where goods, services or information ordered by you are not available;

    (b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;

    (c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or

    (d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

    (e) if we do not deliver to your area;

Where we do not accept your order but have processed your payment, we will re-credit your account with any amount deducted by us from your debit or credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order.

3. Pricing

3.1 All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.

3.2 Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this Website.

 4. Delivery

4.1 Orders are normally picked and packed on the same day as receiving the order and we will deliver goods ordered by you as soon as possible normally within 3 days to the address you give us for delivery, but in any event within 5-10 days of your order unless the goods ordered are out of stock.

4.2 If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing, at our contact address, of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

5. Liability

5.1 If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

5.2 If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 5-10 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address or via email at [email protected] of the problem within 10 days of our maximum delivery period of 5-10 days from the date on which you ordered the goods.

5.3 If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be, at your option:

    (a) to make good any shortage or non-delivery;

    (b) to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or

    (c) to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.

5.4 Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause 5.3(c) above.

5.5 You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.

5.6 Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

 6. Cancellation of contracts for goods and returns policy - For consumers only

6.1 This section applies to consumers only (and not to businesses or other organisations) who order goods

6.2 If you wish to cancel your order:

    (a) you can notify us by email to [email protected] before we have dispatched the

    goods to you; or

    (b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with

    clause 4.2 above.

6.3 You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 28 days of receipt for a full refund. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

6.4 Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid for the goods or an exchange credit as required.

6.5 The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 6.3 will not apply in the following circumstances: -

* in the event that the product has been used

* to any products that we have made or customised specifically for you

The provisions of this clause 6.5 do not affect your statutory rights.

 7. Licence

7.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own personal use only. In downloading any extracts, you do so on the following basis:

    (a) No documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way;

    (b) No graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and

8.3 We reserve the right to deny at our sole discretion any use access to this site or any portion thereof without notice. We have no obligation to forward any unread or unsent messages to you or any third party.

It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this Website from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

15.5 We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

15.6 If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

16. Children

16.1 We do not sell products direct to children unless they are supervised. We sell children's products for purchase by adults or by children under the supervision of adults. If you are under 18, you should purchase products from the site only with the involvement of or under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

18. Regiments Direct Delivery Restrictions to BFPO Addresses

Items that are heavier than 20kg

 19. Refunds

Customers who get items delivered to an international BFPO address cannot get their VAT refunded. Your VAT refund request must be received within three months of the order being shipped.

 20. BFPO Addresses Based Within the EU

Before we can issue a VAT refund for an order dispatched to a BFPO address which is within the EU, UK VAT legislation requires us to obtain a "certificate of entitlement" confirming that the items have been shipped to and received by a qualifying body or person as set out in paragraph 14.2 of HM Revenue and Customs Notice 725 dated December 2009. Regiments Direct will accept a copy of the order receipt which was dispatched with the item(s), signed and stamped by the head or acting head of the embassy, high commission, consulate, visiting force contingent or international organisation, with evidence of the official status of the signatory.

For goods which are shipped to BFPO customers in Cyprus or Germany, Regiments Direct requires a certificate from the person placing the order uniquely identifying the supply for which relief is claimed, and claiming entitlement as follows:

For British Forces in Cyprus - under Article 14(1) (g) of EC Council Directive 77/388/EEC, or

For a Visiting Force in Germany - under Article 15(10) of EC Council Directive 77/388/EEC.

Regiments Direct requires this certificate in accordance with Section 14 of HM Revenue and Customs Notice 725 dated December 2009. If this certificate is not supplied, Regiments Direct cannot make a refund.
